Further to working at the original Oddfellows in Chester, C&C Catering Equipment has recently completed works at the second location of the Oddfellows family, at sister hotel Oddfellows on the Park in Cheadle, Manchester.

The 22 bedroom venue, set within a Victorian mansion house, required catering facilities of a similarly high standard for its guests.

The Chester-based family business worked alongside its subsidiary companies C&C Catering Engineers and C&C Catering Fabrications to provide facilities across four areas of the prestigious location, to include the main house prep kitchen, restaurant prep kitchen, dishwash area, and basement prep kitchen, and working at the early stages with Sterling Foodservice who put the design of the kitchen together.

Brands at the boutique hotel included Charvet cooking ranges, Unox combination ovens, Leightec canopies, Meiko dishwashers, Williams cold rooms, Williams wine chillers, Gram refrigerators, Scotsman ice machines, and Nobel fire suppression.

Project manager Andy Pace commented: “It’s been great to work at the second Oddfellows site, and at such an impressive location.

“There have been some challenges along the way including transporting three upright freezers into the basement with millimetres to spare, but we are thrilled to have overcome these and deliver a job we are proud of, and on time despite timetable changes. We’re really pleased with the end result at Oddfellows on the Park.”
